Alhamdulillah for everything. Just think about it for a minute. So many blessings we take for granted every single moment of our lives. The neurons in our brains function. Blood flows throughout the body at an incredible pace. Our heart pumps nonstop. Our lungs breathe to inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide. Our thyroid keeps us in between extremely cold and extremely warm. Our kidneys help excrete the toxins we don’t need anymore. Alhamdulillah, we have so many blessings to be thankful in our bodies alone. Alhamdulillah alhamdulillah alhamdulillah!

Mechanical engineering is one of the broadest branches of engineering. Engineers are involved with the design, analysis, testing, manufacturing, control, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems.

Our Diploma in Mechanical Engineering provides you with foundation skills needed to conceive, design and produce the moving parts, components and machinery in every aspect of manufacturing.

You will be equipped with broad-based mechanical engineering skills coupled with automotive product knowledge – theoretical and practical skills needed to become a professional mechanical and/or automotive engineer.

Mechanical engineering is a diverse subject that derives its breadth from the need to design and manufacture everything from small individual parts and devices (e.g., microscale sensors and inkjet printer nozzles) to large systems (e.g., spacecraft and machine tools). The role of a mechanical engineer is to take a product from an idea to the marketplace. In order to accomplish this, a broad range of skills are needed. The mechanical engineer needs to acquire particular skills and knowledge. From this programs i needs to understand the forces and the thermal environment that a product, its parts, or its subsystems will encounter; to design them for functionality, aesthetics, and the ability to withstand the forces and the thermal environment they will be subjected to; and to determine the best way to manufacture them and ensure they will operate without failure. Perhaps the one skill that is the mechanical engineer’s exclusive domain is the ability to analyze and design objects and systems with motion.

Since these skills are required for virtually everything that is made, mechanical engineering is perhaps the broadest and most diverse of engineering disciplines. Mechanical engineers play a central role in such industries as automotive (from the car chassis to its every subsystem—engine, transmission, sensors); aerospace (airplanes, aircraft engines, control systems for airplanes and spacecraft); biotechnology (implants, prosthetic devices, fluidic systems for pharmaceutical industries); computers and electronics (disk drives, printers, cooling systems, semiconductor tools); microelectromechanical systems, or MEMS (sensors, actuators, micropower generation); energy conversion (gas turbines, wind turbines, solar energy, fuel cells); environmental control (HVAC, air-conditioning, refrigeration, compressors); automation (robots, data and image acquisition, recognition, control); manufacturing (machining, machine tools, prototyping, microfabrication).

To put it simply, mechanical engineering deals with anything that moves, including the human body, a very complex machine. Mechanical engineers learn about materials, solid and fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, control, instrumentation, design, and manufacturing to understand mechanical systems. Specialized mechanical engineering subjects include biomechanics, cartilage-tissue engineering, energy conversion, laser-assisted materials processing, combustion, MEMS, microfluidic devices, fracture mechanics, nanomechanics, mechanisms, micropower generation, tribology (friction and wear), and vibrations.

The breadth of the mechanical engineering discipline allows students a variety of career options beyond some of the industries listed above. Regardless of the particular path they envision for themselves after they graduate, their education will have provided them with the creative thinking that allows them to design an exciting product or system, the analytical tools to achieve their design goals, the ability to overcome all constraints, and the teamwork needed to design, market, and produce a system.

i hope that , i can learn a LOT about MECHANICAL ENGINEERING in my diploma mechanical engineering in POLYTECNIC SEBERANG PERAI , PENANG.

so , i can apply all the teori and practical i have learn in polytecnic when i graduate later . inshaallah :)

Pada pendapat saya , program ini boleh menambahkan ilmu pengetahuan dalam diri seseorang . Lebih-lebih lagi program ini boleh dikatakan program baru kepada saya . Melalui program ini juga saya dapat berkongsi maklumat dengan yang lain . Saya juga dapat berkongsi kenangan indah sepanjang berada di Politeknik Seberang Perai .

My Interesting

Assalamualaikum !

I like going camping when i started join camped  Belia at Merbok , Kedah .  I learned a lot when i’m join the camp. Such as , group team work, challenge myself to do something new , explore nature, learns how to use compass and other that i cannot get when i study in school  .Camping also can make me be more independent .  Before i’m going to the camping i need to make a list of what i will need to be taken on the trip.  All equipment that i bring must checked before leaving. Another important step is finding the perfect camping site.  If i  follow the instruction giving i will have fun and safe camping trip. When making a list for supplies i  must be very careful not to over look any of the needed supplies. First i must determined how long i plan to be camping and how many people i will need to provide for. Two of the most important supplies would be food and water. I cannot count on being able to catch what i need to eat unless i extremely experienced camper. Water is even more important than food. There may be streams and lakes that i going to camp, but the water may not be safe to drink because it maybe have be polluted.

While camping, I must behave myself . DON’T BE OVER EXCITED.Just enjoy and having fun with the activity that provided for us .

i also like  cycling  for outdoor activities .
